It is therefore pertinent to explore the coping strategies mobilized by the elderly to meet the challenges they face, by comparing them to other age groups.The notion of the elderly is a complex one, since it refers not only to age but also to vulnerability. The aim of this study was to assess the economic level and quality of life of the elderly in the Boto Health Zone, in the South Ubangi Province.What's more, their quality of life remains precarious due to the lack of economic support for the elderly from the Congolese state. In the DRC, it is difficult to know the situation of the elderly, as there has never been a general census of the elderly.
