Since the eighties in the international context, the revitalization of urban centers has been treated as a necessary instrument to reverse the consequences of the deterioration of a city, through mechanisms that guide the modification of the urban landscape, preserving and rehabilitating the historic centers, which arise from the need of the central areas of the cities where they involve the economic, social and cultural activities of the same.It is important to point out that the intervention of the sector Barrio Las Nieves in Bogota focuses on the urban practice through the improvement of the public area that proposes to reactivate the public spaces and equipment as a collective and patrimonial good of the community through the Development Plan Bogota Humana that proposes the revitalization of the Enlarged Center. The purpose of this work is the intervention of a central axis selecting a fragment of the city at an intermediate scale, to formulate a revitalization strategy, which integrates the instruments of urban and architectural planning to transform a city built through urban spaces.
