This book is the result of qualitative research in the field of gerontology and is aimed at collecting identifying data on both the individual and group reality of eight elderly people over the age of 60 who attend the Mais Vividos Group at the Social Service of Commerce (SESC) in Taguatinga Norte-DF, in its symbolic dimension. The theme is aimed at unravelling the group's imaginary, recording its creation, the emergence of the institution, its development over time, its history and the organisation established as a welcoming process for these elderly people in the institution. This data is drawn from the historical facts stored in memory, which emerged to be understood on the basis of the hermeneutics established in holonomic processes, with the analysis of life stories and the imaginary, supported by the works of: Gilbert Durand, Packter, Paula Carvalho, among other authors, and on gerontological findings. The group used Yves Durand's Nine Elements Archetype Test (AT-9) and listening to life stories: methodologies used to translate the symbolic dimension of those lives.
