Due to its strategic position, Argentina is a pole of attraction for the illicit drug trade. As part of the globalized world, the situation has increased at an accelerated pace. The lack of policies in terms of control and prevention, the lack of national coordination working towards a common goal and the lack of budget are factors that favor the development of this problem, in the country and in the world. This paper proposes an approach to the problem of drug trafficking in Argentina based on the application of Game Theory. From the construction of this model we try to identify the essential features of drug trafficking networks operating in the northern border of the country in order to understand their behavior and interactions with social and political communities. This will make it possible to define strategies and formalize decision making.
