Corporate Social Responsibility is of fundamental importance, both for companies in a wide range of industries and for society as a whole. What is expected of a company is that, as well as meeting its pecuniary obligations to pay taxes, generate employment and income, and produce goods, it also directs its efforts towards improving the social condition of the people around it. In this context, this study seeks to identify the Corporate Social Responsibility actions carried out by banks, as well as understanding the main guidelines that guide them and establishing a comparison between the actions carried out. To this end, we decided to carry out a documentary study of five banks: Banco do Brasil, Bradesco, Caixa Economica Federal, Itau Unibanco and HSBC Bank Brasil. Social Responsibility actions were analysed by segmenting them into five main topics: Access to Education and Financial Education, Environmental Risk Management and Waste Control, Support for Culture and Sport, Transparency and Business Ethics and Financial Inclusion.
