Missile defense system has been measured as the top military capacity not only to protect national security but also to prevent military provocation in the international society. The U.S. currently keeps superior missile defense system and its advanced technology to cope with any ballistic missile from short range missiles to long range ballistic missiles with nuclear warhead. Five missile defense systems are composed of ABL, PAC-3, THAAD, SM-3, and GMD. Asia-Pacific area is exposed to the most dangerous military provocation in the international society.
