In the first portion of White Teachers/Black Students, Dr. Erskine-Meusa provides an explanation of what culturally responsive pedagogy (CRP) looks like in her classroom. In the second portion of White Teachers/Black Students and through the lens of actual Black student stories that were told of their college classroom experiences with White teachers, this book provides a narrative for how specific Black students experienced teachers who they felt were effective or ineffective when teaching them.
