Since the fifth century BC, great Greek philosophers such as Socrates were already applying questionnaires as part of the evaluation process of their practices, but it was in the nineteenth century when the basis for an evaluation model emerged with the birth of the traditional school. The purpose of this research is to reveal the impact that assessment has on curricular planning in the educational context. Its argumentative value is based on the need to emphasize the adequate use of assessment techniques and instruments in curricular planning.
