The emergence of the global covid-19 pandemic has been associated with a negative impact on the activities of professional training and continuous medical education throughout the world. At the same time the pandemic resulted in a dire need for continuing medical education because of the rapid emergence of a large a mount of research evidence and the need to introduce new practices and knowledge into healthcare organizations.The aim of this book is to describe a customized five-day training course "An introduction to medical and healthcare leadership" which was conducted during February, 2021. The course was customized in accordance with covid-19 guidelines which aim at reducing exposure to the virus and reducing its spread through social distancing and reducing gathering of people. The course started with an online pre-test which was conducted the night before the main day of the course which included giving the all the lectures (Mini-lectures) of the course in the abbreviated form and providing the participants the customized course book. The course concluded on the fifth day by the final course exam which was also conducted online.
