This is a short story about Phil Spector. Phil Spector was one of the most enigmatic people that ever walked on planet earth. In musical terms he was in this writer's opinion and many musical experts an absolute genius, and he composed music for thousands of songs, including for the Beatles and many other groups. In the course of this short story, I hope to give the reader a comprehensive compendium of his musical works. His music was largely of the 1960s, and I was a youth of the 60s. Some songs he composed featured on everyday radio in the sixties. Without any effort, I was immersed in the music of that period and inevitably the compositions of Phil Spector, which dominated a large part of the popular musical scene of the sixties. What sparked off the research for this short story was the occasion of the passing of Ronnie Spector, who was the lead singer of the Ronettes in January 2022. Her death marked the end of an era, and I decided to delve once again into some songs and music that inspired her, and the many groups for whom Phil Spectre composed songs and music. It is an understatement that Ronnie Spectre's marriage to Phil Spector was a very unhappy one.
