Clearly, all the women around me–those who go through life choosing boyfriends, fiances, and husbands as if they were picking which fruit to buy at the grocery store–received some kind of instruction manual that did not make its way to me. Someone must have deceived me at some point in time. If not, how can I explain that I am a 30-year-old woman, reasonably cute, sympathetic, and professionally successful, yet single? Why do I spend my Friday nights in pajamas, watching endless TV series and playing Candy Crush? This book is a manual on how to be in your 30s and fantastic, despite being single. Perdon, pero creo que alguien, en algun momento, me engano. O, de menos, me oculto informacion crucial. Claramente, todas las mujeres a mi alrededor –esas que van por la vida eligiendo novios, prometidos y maridos como se escoge fruta en el mercado– recibieron un manual de instrucciones que a mi simplemente me negaron. Si no fue asi, ?como demonios podria explicar mi condicion de mujer de treinta y tantos, razonablemente mona, simpatica y exitosa profesionalmente que, a pesar de ello, pasa sus viernes en la noche en pijamas, viendo series mensisimas y jugando Candy Crush?
