Mexico City crumbles on itself. Crazed and desolated, the city becomes the scenario of the only thing that it can still be: an endless arena without prohibitions where men don’t find another reflection that that of the criminal that inhabits them. The city is like a collapsed nest where only a feeling survives: vengeance, the infuriated necessity of vindication, against the others, against the cement and the concrete, against overpopulation, overcrowding, the lack of services and the ecological devastation. A cynical, violent character tells the story of his life while he travels through chaos searching for his partner, who disappeared a while ago and without apparent cause. As in any desperate situation, the loss vanishes on behalf of the yearning. The most important thing is not the shipwreck but the desire of denying it. At the end, the void: the recount of remorse, fears and mistrust mixes with the urban rage, and they transform the one threatened in a threat. La ciudad de Mexico se desmorona sobre si misma. Enloquecida y devastada, se convierte en el escenario de lo unico que aun puede ser: una arena interminable sin prohibiciones donde los hombres no encuentran otro reflejo que el del criminal que los habita. La urbe como un nido colapsado donde sobrevive un sentimiento: la venganza, la enfurecida necesidad del desagravio. Contra los otros, contra el hormigon y el concreto, contra la sobrepoblacion, el hacinamiento, la falta de servicios y la devastacion ecologica. Un personaje cinico y violento cuenta la historia de su vida mientras recorre el caos en busca de su pareja, desaparecida hace tiempo y sin causa aparente. Como en cualquier situacion desesperada, la perdida se desvanece en nombre del anhelo. Lo que importa no es el naufragio sino el deseo de negarlo. Al final, el vacio: el recuento de remordimientos, temores y recelos se mezcla con la furia urbana, y convierten al amenazado en amenaza.
