Borderline between detective novel and an adventure novel, El fin de la locura is a witty and passionate novel full of ideas which chronicles the journey of Anibal Quevedo, psychoanalyst and Mexican drifter.
His story starts in Paris in May of 1968 and goes on for over 20 years throughout different countries until he returns to a Mexico where neoliberalism has won.
