Prickly's Prickle Problem is an illustrated picture book for children designed to convey a message of kindness, acceptance, and tolerance, and to inspire them to be proud of who they are.

Prickly is a very friendly and simple porcupine with a BIG problem. His sharp quills make it difficult for him to fit in. No matter how hard he tries to be nice, he ends up hurting others - so much so that his friends run away from him and won't include him in their games. Now this makes Prickly sad. He knows it's not his fault, but he can't help but wonder what if he were different? Or better still, what if there was someone who would accept him for who he was?

Prickly decides to search for a place of comfort: a friend who would be kind and brave enough to hug a porcupine with quills. So he begins his journey through the woods. Along the way, he meets elephants, monkeys, sloth bears, and oh dear, Snakes! He tries to befriend them, but soon realizes that it is just not meant to be! He is meant to stand out, not because there is anything "wrong" with him, but because everyone has their own problems!

Will Prickly's search lead him to the one good friend he's looking for? Will he ever learn to accept himself? Find out more from the book: )
