Dr Ngogi Mahaye was born on the 4th April 04h00, at Nkandla Nkungumathe area. He is an inborn teacher who taught in many schools, a principal at Velangaye High School who produced more than 60 aspirants and medical doctors. He is a life-long learner, with myriads of qualifications from number of Universities such as Natal, University of Port Elizabeth, Pretoria Technikon, University of South Africa, University of Kwazulu Natal, Home Study College. He currently studying at University of Pretoria. In 2004 he was appoint as a Principal at Velangaye High School, which he transformed it to Velangaye Comprehensive High School where there were only 7 teachers with 275 learners, no adequate teaching staff, no electricity, no admin clerk, no security guards etc. He turned the Community around with a blue print for the transformation of curriculum which is in diverse and associates the amazing, the first of its kind at Nkandla which is the state of art.
