David Austin’s English Roses are relatively new in Russia, but has grown numerous rosarian-lovers in many regions. These roses are attracting attention and beautiful double flowers with a strong nym aroma and harmonious bush, and quite high winter hardiness, which is important for many northern and eastern regions of Russia. For more than half a century history D.Ostinom created more than 200 varieties of English roses, most of which are real masterpieces. But some of these varieties are best suited for the Russian regions with significantly climate variability? This and other questions the reader will find the answers in this book. For this purpose: - monitoring the collection of roses D.Ostina (30 varieties); - statistical analysis of data about the popular and favorite brand in Russia; - expert evaluation of varieties by the author of the proposed scheme, obtained nye 25 rosarian amateur in 14 Russian regions. In the final chapter we show examples of gardens where roses grow D. Austin - from Karelia in the north to the North Caucasus in the south, from the environs of St. Petersburg in the west and central regions (Iaroslavskaia, Tula) to Middle Ural Siberia and south east.
