Ivan Ulyanovich Basargin, wonderful Siberian original writer, despite the short life, managed to leave its mark in the domestic literature. Already his first major work - the novel Wild bees , has become an event in Soviet literary circles. First of all, because the author has not applied to the realities of socialist reality, but to the true history of the development and settlement of the pioneers of the Siberian region. The main heroes of the novel became the descendants of the Old Believers who had gone into the wilds of the Sikhote-Alin mountains in search of a peaceful and happy life. And when it came to the new Soviet power with its rigid ideological settings, people resisted and defended his small homeland. It is because of a truthful story about the tragedy of the suppression in the late 1930s, the Old Believers rebellion novel Wild bees and was not published during the writer’s life, and was released only in 1989.
