The materials that make up the contents of this volume represent the article, written by LD Trotsky in 1912 and 1913, the city, when he was in the Balkans, as a correspondent for a number of Russian newspapers. The exceptions are articles included in the first section of the book relating to the period 1908 1912, the city first part of this section provides an overview of the Balkan issue. The articles included in the second part, devoted to the Congress of the Balkan social democracy and give an idea of the Balkan socialist movement of the proletariat. The entire first section can be considered as a general introduction to all subsequent presentation., Second Department includes articles on the war. Highlighted materials related to Serbia and Bulgaria. Materials related to the latter, in turn, divided us into two groups: one group includes the participation of Bulgaria in the First Balkan War allies against Turkey; another group devoted to the participation of Bulgaria in the second Balkan War with the former allies., The Third Division of the book is devoted to the post-war Romania. Unfortunately, the causes of the Second Balkan War, the author highlights enough. This is due to the fact that in this period of time comrade. Trotsky on the Balkans was not.
