Rose McKenzie is no stranger to running. After the death of her father threatens to bring her back under her mother's control permanently, Rose flees again. This time it's to the only sanctuary she's ever known: a tiny island called Nora.

Sunset by the Sea is the first book in the Golden Isles Trilogy and part of the wider Otherkind Universe. It's a slow-burn paranormal romance with two love interests and no need for our heroine to choose between them. These novels must be read in order.
