Write on Target: A creative and integrated approach to academic and practical writing

Write on Target was written to help students practice writing in a variety of forms. The book focuses on 5 areas of writing: essays, short stories, sentences, poetry, and reading comprehension questions. Each section deals with different types of writing, offering comprehensive advice on ways to improve your writing style. Students with a moderate to high level of English proficiency will benefit most from using this textbook, in particular high school-university students. I developed the textbook for my intermediate-level students in Japan. It is therefore a book designed to improve the writing skills of this type of student. Hopefully, this textbook can aid students and teachers to enjoy the process of writing because writing is a skill that can get better through practice and effort.
