This book is the exhibition catalogue for UKIYO-E 2020, which was held in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum from June 23 to September 22, 2020. This exhibition holds great significance because, for the first time ever, masterpieces from the Ota Memorial Museum of Art, Japan, the Ukiyo-e Museum, and the Hiraki Ukiyo-e Foundation, museums holding the three great collections of ukiyo-e in Japan both in quality and volume, were showcased together.
