Memoria

From the archives of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival Jury Prize winner. After visiting Colombia, Apichatpong Weerasthakul chose the country as the location for his first feature shot outside of his native Thailand. In the following two years, he returned and travelled extensively. This book gathers the memories he collected along the way in the form of photographs, diaries, research notes, treatments and correspondence. These are placed beside exclusive materials from the eventual production.
