L'attribution meme du Promethee enchaine est discutee. On suppose en tout cas que cette piece aurait ete la premiere d'une trilogie liee, suivie de deux autres Promethee: Promethee delivre et Promethee Porte-feu. Les hypotheses a ce sujet permettent egalement de rechercher une coherence et un sens qui semblent manquer si l'on considere la piece comme isolee…
