Seit seiner Eroeffnung 1955 ist das Friedensmuseum in Hiroshima (Peace Memorial Museum) nicht nur ein Ort der Dokumentation des ersten Einsatzes einer Atomwaffe gegen Menschen, sondern auch ein Ort des Gedenkens der Toten.
