[Constitutional Law - Human Rights Law - Criminal Law. Colloquium for Walter Gollwitzer on the occasion of his 80th birthday on 16 January 2004 in Munich.]
On December 10, 2003, Dr. Walter Gollwitzer was 80 years old. As a particularly highly-esteemed and respected colleague he is very closely linked to Bavarian justice, for which he worked in many pre-eminent positions. In his scientific work he rendered great services through his examination and further development of the criminal law process and through his association with the European Convention on Human Rights. A scientific colloquium was held in his honour on 16 January 2004 in the conference room of the Higher Regional Court in Munich, the proceedings from which are documented in this conference volume.
