The Westerwald is known for its trail of the same name, which, as a top trail, attracts numerous hikers to the unique landscape. But there is also a lot to discover off the beaten track. The Waeller tours run as day and multi-day tours, mostly as circular routes, through the Westerwald. In addition to varied natural areas, there are lively, traditional towns and numerous sights to be discovered: from the motorcycle museum to pilgrimage chapels and sculptures to the bears in the wildlife and leisure park. The international crib and bible museum is just as worth seeing as the ceramics museum, the castles and churches along the way.
