Telling Time: Rencontres De Bamako Biennale Africaine de la Photographie

‘Telling Time’ is the theme of the 10th Bamako Encounters, African Biennale of Photography, which also marks the 20 year anniversary of the event. All of the images here are from this event and they all delve laterally into the theme of ‘Africa.’ Humour abounds and there is no lack of self-criticism and reflexivity on the part of the artists - both of themselves and their countries.
