Elaborately designed and presented as a dialogue with the artist whilst also showcasing Hefuna’s new body of work, mixing the intercultural codes and myths of German and Egyptian heritage. A new drawing series, the wooden Mashabiya and Hefuna’s meditation screens are all documented as well as a series of interviews by Obrist with Hefuna. The work is further illuminated with an essay by Marcus de Sautoy.
