This volume presents the breadth and scope of Turkish-German studies in the United States. The various chapters deal with the influence of Jewish immigrants in Turkey, the role of Turkey in European film funding, classroom instruction of Islamic religion in Germany, the Ikinci Yeni movement in Turkish literature and New World Literature from Germany. German-Turkish intersections and interactions are examined by exploring current issues.
