English summary: This is the first volume of a commentary on the Gospel of Luke, conceived in three volumes, and comprises the first chapters of the gospel (Luke 1:1-9:50), i.e., the infancy gospels and the Galilean period of Jesus’ ministry. The introduction briefly discusses text-critical questions, canonization, language, construction, origin, and the theological profile of the Third Gospel. According to the author, Luke is not a direct disciple of Paul; he represents a special form of Paulinism in the third generation of Christianity. Luke was more interested in the person of the Son of God and the story of the First Witnesses than in the external structure of Christian communities. This commentary is accompanied by detailed references and a translation. The exegesis itself deals with the tradition and structure of the text. It draws attention both to often neglected philological questions and to Luke’s theological concerns.
