Fritz Both wirkte von 1950 bis 1986, also fast vier Jahrzehnte als Pastor in Fredelsloh. In dieser Zeit erarbeitete er mehrere historische Texte zur Geschichte des Klosters Fredelsloh und seiner beeindruckenden Stiftskirche. Einige dieser Texte sind lange Zeit nur maschinenschriftlich und in wenigen Bibliotheken erhaltlich gewesen. Nun erscheinen sie endlich im Buchhandel. Insbesondere die Ausarbeitung Die Grundbesitz- und Vermoegensverhaltnisse des Stifts Fredelsloh von 1132 bis 1700. Eine Darstellung ist sehr lesenswert. In der Schriftenreihe Fredelsloher Fundstucke und Fragmente erscheinen die Both-Texte als Folgeband 2, herausgegeben von Arno Schelle.
