Intercultural Management
Intercultural Management
This collected volume is based on a selection of research projects in the field of Intercultural Management at the Europaeische Fernhochschule Hamburg, Germany. The contributions focus on the challenges and opportunities faced within a modern and globalized workplace. Each paper highlights a distinct management problem from industries such as business administration, education, healthcare, and other important sectors. A testament to the need for cultural intelligence in every workplace, the studies demonstrate how understanding that culture is more than simple geographical boundaries is crucial for enhancing personal growth, developing leadership skills, and building trust. Furthermore, a strong cultural intelligence fosters awareness and flexibility, an understanding of ethical and sustainable decision-making, and ultimately leads to more effective global interactions.
