Said Sahel stellt die Analyse von Spontansprachkorpora und elizitierten Daten von deutschsprachigen und marokkanischen Agrammatikern in den Mittelpunkt seiner Arbeit. Er untersucht insbesondere den Einfluss von morphologischen Eigenschaften einer Einzelsprache auf das Erscheinungsbild des Agrammatismus und zeigt, dass die unterschiedliche Manifestation des agrammatischen Defizits in den zwei untersuchten Sprachen ihre unterschiedlichen morphologischen Systeme widerspiegelt.
