As an early protagonist of gestural abstract painting, Bernard Schultze (1915-2005) was one of the most important artists of the second half of the twentieth century. Following many years of preparation, the extensive three-volume catalogue raisonne of his paintings and objects dating to the period between 1939 and 2005 will be released on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth on 31 May 2015.
