Emerging from a series of public events at London's Serpentine Gallery, The Shape of a Circle in the Mind of a Fish is an edited collection that brings together interventions across arts, the humanities and science that have been convened over the past five years. They investigate the idea of "mind" across species and beings, inquiring upon animal, plant and fungal intelligence, consciousness and affects, machine sentience and interspecies communication. Edited by Lucia Pietroiusti and Filipa Ramos, the publication includes new material by over fifty experts, including Marisol de la Cadena, Ted Chiang, Peter Gabriel, Amy Hollywood, Tim Ingold, Karrabing Film Collective, Kapwani Kiwanga, Elizabeth A.
