The ever-increasing demands of workloads and deadlines, with massive technological change, with internationalization of work and the changing nature of the family (i.e., two-earner couples), make the workplace itself a health issue (Cooper, Schabracq, Winnubst 2003). The organizations in which people work affect their thoughts, feelings, and actions in the workplace and away from it (Brief, Weiss 2002).
