Part of a series of concise guide-books devoted to major Le Corbusier edifices, this text looks at the residence at 24 rue Nungesser et Coli at the edge of the Bois de Boulogne in Paris, built between 1931 and 1934, and occupied by Le Corbusier from 1934c until his death in 1965. This building always stood somewhat in the shadow of the masterpieces of this epoch, such as the Villa Savoye and the Pavillon Suisse. yet it was precisely this building which gave exemplary expression to Le Corbusier’s path towards Brutalism . Recently restored, the apartment preserves all the original furnishings.
