We are happy to present to the interested reader a number of well-known poems and one passage out of Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in both the German and the English language. We think that publishing Goethe`s poems in two languages can be interesting for bilingual readers but it may also help language students to gain an insight into the beauty and techniques of poetry by comparing both versions. So this book could be a useful tool at schools and universities. You will find in this book a poem with a stanza which seems to have been forgotten, when you look it up in the Internet.
