Der Ring des Jodlers ist ein satirisch-parodistisches Fantasy-Abenteuer und beginnt in einem von Dieter Bodenlos kommandierten musikalischen Meditationslager, in welches Billy Beutelschneider und sein Neffe Frohodio, die als Touristen in das Koboldreich Teutomania reisten, gleich nach ihrer Ankunft deportiert wurden, weil der in Teutomania herrschende Jodler und Reichskanzler - Adolf Sauronius Fickler - eine Abneigung gegen Halblinge hat und sie fur den Diebstahl seines Zauberrings verantwortlich macht.
