Alfons Maria Wachsmann (25.01.1896 Berlin - 21.02.1944 Brandenburg-Goerden) war seit 1929 Pfarrer in der katholischen St.-Joseph-Kirche in Greifswald. Am 23.06.1943 wurde er in Zinnowitz von der Gestapo verhaftet, am 04.12.1943 durch den Volksgerichtshof wegen Wehrkraftzersetzung und Verstoss gegen das Rundfunkgesetz zum Tode verurteilt und am 21.02.1944 in Brandenburg-Goerden hingerichtet. Die Herausgabe seiner Fastenpredigten erfolgt 2021 anlasslich seines 125. Geburtstages und des 100. Jahrestages seiner Priesterweihe am 19.06.1921 in Breslau.
