Lanoue ist in der Haiku-Welt bekannt durch seine UEbersetzungen des japanischen Haiku-Dichters Kobayashi Issa (1763-1828). DIes ist sein erster Haiku-Roman. Eine Geschichte uber die Suche nach dem grossen Haiku und der grossen Liebe. Das amerikanische Original ist im Jahr 2000 entstanden.
