Prof. Georg Friedrich Daumer verfasste diese interessante Schrift uber seinen ehemaligen Zoegling Kaspar Hauser im Jahre 1832. Daumer, in dessen Haushalt Kaspar Hauser rund anderthalb Jahre zubrachte (1828-1830), studierte diesen intensiv und kannte ihn daher so gut wie kaum ein Zweiter. Auch die Versuche Daumers an Kaspar Hauser mit homoeopathischen Mitteln und Mesmerismus verdienen besondere Beachtung.
