Hello dear readers, If you think of the Ruhr region or Munsterland, you can’t get past food. I was born in Essen-City, in the middle of the Ruhrpott, and have lived in Lunen for many years now. Lunen is the gateway to Munsterland. Nothing is closer than writing about delicious, savoury and savoury dishes. Just when my grandma was my teacher. Grandma was cooking at a large restaurant in Essen-City at the time. This cookbook is divided into four parts. We start with hearty dishes from home. The second chapter is about salads (fish salads and party salads), the third part about hearty soups. The fourth chapter is about grandmother’s favourite dishes, which are highly topical and easy to cook, especially in today’s stressed time.
