Der Ausdruck Platonische Liebe durfte allgemein bekannt sein. In diesem Vortrag uber Platons Symposion soll der Herkunft der Bezeichnung nachgegangen werden. Im Symposion wird in gastlicher Atmosphare zunachst bei massigem Weingenuss uber das Thema Eros/Liebe diskutiert, bis die Versammlung schliesslich von einem ehemaligen Schuler des Sokrates in feucht-froehliche Bahnen gelenkt wird. Dadurch wird die Diskussion uber die Liebe zu einem ungeahnten, aber aufschlussreichen Ende gefuhrt.
