Commissario Berlingui hat es nicht nur mit einer ungewoehnlichen Methode von Mord zu tun, sondern auch der Ermordete ist als kirchlicher Wurdentrager des Vatikans nicht gerade alltaglich. Aber es bleibt nicht bei dieser Leiche und Berlingui findet sich in einem zunachst unubersichtlichen und viele Jahre zuruckreichenden Fall wieder, dessen Ende uberrascht.
