Im Heft wiedergegeben werden die Tagebucher von den sachsischen Infanterie-Offizieren Johann Carl von Dallwitz und Adolf George von Goephardt. Johann Carl von Dallwitz (1791 - 1872) stand 1812 beim Regiment Niesemeuschel, kampfte bei Kobryn und geriet dabei in russische Gefangenschaft. Er war 1814 beim Depot des 2ten prov. Regiments und 1815 beim Landwehr-Reserve-Regiment angestellt. Adolf George Wilhelm Leopold von Goephardt (1789 - 1878) war 1813 Brigade-Adjutant der Infanterie-Brigade des General-Majors von Mellentin und im Regiment von Steindel mit dem Dienstgrad Capitan angestellt.
