Anfanglich beeindruckt von der zuvorkommenden Aufnahme durch den Betriebsleiter van der Laahe, wird sie bald dazu beauftragt, das aufkommende Problem ruckgangiger OElfoerdermengen unter die Lupe zu nehmen. Dabei gerat sie einerseits in beinahe gefahrenvolle Situationen, begegnet andererseits dem Windanlagen-Entwickler Janne, der ihr auch privat nicht ganz gleichgultig zu sein scheint.
