Hans Schrems (1914 - 1969) war uber seinen Onkel, Prof. Dr. Theobald Schrems, von Jugend an eng mit dem Chor der Regensburger Domspatzen verbunden. Er unterrichtete u. a. als Schulmusiker am Musikgymnasium der Regensburger Domspatzen und war verantwortlich fur die Stimmbildung des Knaben- und Mannerchores und fur die Vorbereitung und Leitung kirchlicher und ausserkirchlicher Konzerte sowie Schallplattenaufnahmen und Fernsehaufzeichnungen. Ad maiorem gloriam Dei beschreibt nicht nur das Leben und Wirken von Hans Schrems, sondern dokumentiert zugleich alle Konzerte, Rundfunk- und Schallplattenaufnahmen sowie Fernsehaufzeichnungen, die Hans Schrems von 1956 bis 1969 vorbereitete und dirigierte.
