Im Juni 2002 reiste Reinhard Staubach mit Verwandten nach Polen. Er berichtet uber die Reise und seine Kindheit in dem unter polnischer Verwaltung stehenden Hinterpommern. In Starnitz fanden sich seine Eltern. Dort endete 1945 fur die Mitreisenden die Flucht vor der Roten Armee. Rathsdamnitz, Stolp, Stolpmunde, Mutzenow, Kosemuhl, Braunsberg und naturlich Starnitz standen im Mittelpunkt der Reise.
