Stephie Braun: OPAQUE

The first photo book by the German photographer Stephie Braun (*1995) is titled OPAQUE and brings together works created between 2009 and 2019 from the artist’s archive. From analogue picture material to computer- and smartphone-generated photography, this publication merges various forms of picture and sounds out the boundaries of contemporary photography. The photos are accompanied by a short story and notes that appear between the pictures.
